On Wednesday 27th September, we held our 3rd annual FHS Young Musician of the Year Competition
The individual competitions of Junior, Intermediate and Advanced level woodwind, strings, piano, guitar/drums and singing were held in the morning, as music rung around the second floor and the school.
In the afternoon, the judging panel of Buffy Rowe (strings), Susan Torke (woodwind), Rebecca Cohen (piano) and Rob Gildon (singing) joined forces to listen to the 14 finalists who took part in the Grand Final in the Hall.
After a long discussion due to the high standard of all performers, the final result of the competition was announced :
