On Wednesday 13th March, we welcomed Ann Furedi, chief executive of BPAS, who gave an assembly as part of our Women of Influence Lecture Series.

In this morning’s inspiring assembly, Ann Furedi discussed a significant quote by Gabrielle “Coco” Channel, the iconic French fashion designer and business woman, who once famously stated, “I decided who I wanted to be, and that is who I am.“

Using examples from her own life and career, Ann suggested that although we cannot choose where we come from, we can always choose where we go from there.
