On the 10th November 2017, twenty-five Upper Fourth students ventured to the edge of the empire.

They visited the Roman military sites of Vindolanda, Chesters Roman Fort and Housesteads. It was a fantastic weekend, topped off with a short hike along the ‘Steel Rigg’ section of Hadrian’s Wall itself. euge!
