The Upper Fifth French students enjoyed a fascinating guided tour and interactive workshop at The Wallace Collection.

The tour was in French and included many highlights of French history which we encountered through paintings and the decorative arts. We heard stories about Louis XIV and his family through to Marie-Antoinette and the French Revolution. The girls did a treasure hunt in one of the rooms and gave presentations in French. It was a treat to step into French history just a short walk from school!
