On Tuesday 5th September, we were delighted to welcome our new Thirds and Lower Sixth students to Francis Holland. As the newest members of our community, both cohorts enjoyed an exciting Induction Day to welcome them to FHS life and give them the opportunity to get to know their peers.

Looking impeccably smart in their new uniforms, the Thirds embarked on a day of induction sessions and getting to know their forms, as well as enjoying lunch with their Friendly Fifth Former buddies. After an exciting first day of senior school, they headed to a delightful Welcome Tea in St Cyprian’s Church with their parents, carers and teachers.

Meanwhile in Linhope House, we welcomed our new Lower Sixth students and welcomed back existing FHS students. The cohort spent the day getting to know their new dedicated Sixth Form Centre (opened in September 2022) and will be the third ever year group to enjoy this modern learning environment.

It was a joy to finally welcome the newest members of the #FHSCommunity to our school, and we look forward to first day of the Autumn Term tomorrow.
