This week, for the Sixth Form Lecture we were very pleased to welcome, Jennie Macklin from SMARTWORKS, a charity the school is working with, and our speaker, Thommy Tillotson, a qualified coach, who is passionate about helping people, teams and organisations to achieve their goals. Thommy donates an hour a week of her time to supporting the work of Smart Works, helping women get back into the workplace amongst other things.

Thommy gave an excellent session, inviting the students to think about their values, interests, positive personality traits and skills, enabling them to respond to the question “Tell me about yourself…” in an interesting and engaging manner. Very useful for any future networking and interview situations our students may find themselves in. Thommy’s presentation was fascinating and thought provoking and we are very grateful to her for spending the time with us.
