We were delighted to have Colin Stuart in school on Monday 10th February to talk to our Sixth Form pupils about ‘How we’ll live on Mars’.

Colin is an astronomy speaker and author who has talked to over half a million people about the universe. His sixteen books have sold more than 350,000 copies worldwide and been translated into 20 languages. He has written over 200 popular science articles for publications including The Guardian, New Scientist, The Wall Street Journal and European Space Agency.

In recognition of his efforts to popularise astronomy, the asteroid (15347) Colinstuart was named after him. Colin is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society

Colin shared his expertise about the universe and some funny stories about life on the International Space Station; and he captivated our audience with the world of opportunities that life on Mars could provide us with in the not-so-distant future.

We are very grateful to Colin for coming to talk to our Sixth Form.
