On Wednesday evening our Sixth Form English students were treated to a brilliant talk by award-winning writer and literary critic, Claire Harman, on the life and works of Charlotte Brontë.

Claire’s biography about Brontë is a captivating read and she brought to life Brontë’s childhood and her difficult route to publication in the 19th century.
