On Monday 11th December, Alumna Jodie Leigh came in to speak to the Sixth Form.

She told the students about her time at FHS, specifically her involvement in the Gym and Dance shows! After school, she auditioned for Dance School and was accepted, going on to tour with Take That, Kylie and West Life. As her career grew, it began to evolve; she found she was often asked to suggest friends for modelling jobs, something which she has now developed into a successful career in supplying major brands with models.

Jodie emphasised the importance of working towards your dreams whilst always having a Plan B – you can always come back to a dream when the time is right! Many of her friends, she said, were only now realising their dreams after long and successful careers in other fields.
