On Thursday 12th October, we were delighted to open our doors to prospective families for our annual Senior School Open Day. With classroom activities in full swing, guests were first invited to tour the School and try their hand at a smorgasbord of exciting subject-based tasks and challenges. From European food tasting in MFL to solving tricky puzzles in Maths, this was an opportunity for prospective students to meet subject teachers and current students, as well as getting a glimpse into life and learning at FHS.
Following their tours our Headmistress, Mrs Woodcock, addressed prospective families in the Hall. Mrs Woodcock was joined by the Head Girl, Issy, a panel of current students and representatives from our Parents’ Association, Mr Taylor and Mr Parkhill, who all in turn offered their unique perspectives on what makes FHS so unique.
It was wonderful to see the School so buzzing with prospective families, with one parent praising the School’s ‘very friendly environment’ and one parent commenting, ‘(we have) visited many schools and FHS Regentās Park along with sister school in Sloane Square shone brightest of all. A wonderful atmosphere amongst existing pupils that was genuine and the perfect working environment for children.’
Thank you to all who joined us for another wonderful Open Day. We already look forward to welcoming our next cohort of Thirds in September 2024.
