What an absolute delight to witness the culmination of our scholars’ research projects on Thursday lunchtime! Huge congratulations to our brilliant Year 7 and 8 scholars who showcased the incredible findings of their independent research. Parents, students, and staff were captivated by a diverse array of topics, including the effects of blue light, Simone Biles’ diet, societal conformity, space exploration, and sustainable practices through crocheting with recyclable materials, to name just a few!

Our scholars, inspired by the comprehensive Stretch and Challenge booklet, had the freedom to delve into any subject that piqued their curiosity. A special shout-out to our Sixth Form scholars who generously provided guidance and support, drawing on their own experience with the Extended Project Qualification. The Scholars Project is all about sparking independent learning, fuelling curiosity, and honing vital research skills like referencing and source searching.

We canā€™t wait to celebrate all these amazing pupils more formally in June with certificates at the Scholarsā€™ Lunch. A massive well done to all the students involved ā€“ youā€™ve done us proud!
