Over the course of two weeks the Thirds through to the Upper Fifth took part in the annual Inter-House Hockey Competition; a competition which has traditionally run near Christmas time for a number of decades!

Captains had to be well organised to make sure that every member of their House had the opportunity to play, and they did a brilliant job! As ever, it was great to see the experienced club players encouraging their team mates and leading by example. We saw over 48 matches played, with over 400 players taking part! Over 80 goals were scored with over 100 penalty corners being awarded. Over 8 hours of hockey were played and over 400 doughnuts consumedā€¦with only a few of them being stolen by squirrels!

After all of this, Mars and Jupiter ended up on equal points, so we looked at goal difference; it was also equal. We then looked at the results in all Mars versus Jupiter games; the result was again equal! This is the first time we can ever recall this happening, and it means that the 2025 trophy is being shared between Mars and Jupiter! Congratulations to all who took part.
