The traditional Prefects’ Lunch marks the handover of our outgoing Upper Sixth Prefects to their incoming Lower Sixth counterparts.
The girls have been incredible in their roles as Prefects this year, representing the school at various events including Open Days and careers evenings, as well as assisting teachers with lunch duties and assemblies. This meeting, therefore, was invaluable for the two year groups to sit down together and discuss the importance of the Prefect team’s role in school life as well as Sixth Form student life including their A Level studies, university and life beyond FHS!
With everyone gathered Mrs Woodcock took the opportunity to relay her thanks to the outgoing team for their commitment and hard work over the past year and reminded the new prefects of the upcoming application process for the Head Girl’s Team – yet another opportunity for Sixth Form students to step into leadership roles at FHS, learning valuable skills for life!
