Monday 8th May saw the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week and we were delighted to welcome Dr Victoria Walmsley to Francis Holland to share her expertise on the topic of anxiety.

Earlier in the year Victoria had organised a workshop for the UIV students where they discussed ways in which they can better recognise, understand and manage anxiety and stress. On Monday she presented a fascinating talk on the same topic, outlining how anxiety can impact on teenage girls specifically, and offering advice on how we can help manage anxiety levels in our daughters. The event was incredibly well supported by parents and we very much look forward to announcing another talk in the Autumn Term.
