On Friday 15th September, the Lower Fifth GCSE art students visited Tate Britain to view the newly opened exhibition of works by the renowned British sculptor, Rachael Whiteread.

This was a genuinely awesome spectacle, featuring huge structures cast in plaster, concrete and resin, juxtaposed with small studies and intriguing drawings. The girls made the very most of their time there, making drawings and notes which will support their coursework. This was indeed an inspiring start to the girlsĀ’ Art course!
