The last Friday of the academic year was filled with buzzing excitement from the students and staff of the school! The Lower Fifth charity team organized the last charity event of the year; an Inter-form Dance Battle with the theme Top Female Artists in aid of Swiss Cottage Specialist School.

Each year group was assigned a female artist; some artists were Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Madonna and more! With their artist in mind, it was up to each form to choose a song to prepare for, get costumes and perform too!

The Judge panel was made up of both teachers and students. Thank you to Miss Lewis, Mr Cheung, Mr Rocke, Miss Watkinson, Saskia de Koster from LV and Head Girl Saskia Shah. The event consisted of some amazing choreography from students and a wide variety of dance moves, featuring a few gymnastic skills and a surprise performance from the staff and hosts!

The competition was tough and everyone who participated is to be congratulated for their tremendous efforts and fabulous performance. The judges had a hard time deciding which form was to be named victorious and runners up. Congratulations to LVP with …Baby One More Time for being placed first and a close second was awarded to LIVR with Hot and Cold!

Overall, the event made a total of £385.12 and with the treats and refreshments stall on the side and some other events throughout the year we are able to give £600 in total to Swiss Cottage Specialist School which is an amazing way to end the year! Thank you to Ms MacDonnell for helping to organise the event.
