Last week, our Lower Sixth students had the most incredible opportunity to attend a careers talk at EY, gaining first-hand insight into the world of professional services.

The girls were introduced to the art of elevator pitches: three to four sentences about who you are, what your skills are, what is unique about you, what your goals are and how you plan achieve them. They also discussed some of the core attributes needed to succeed in the workplace such as clear communication, relationship building, adaptability and integrity.

From exploring career pathways to engaging in interactive sessions with industry experts, it was an invaluable experience that broadened their understanding of the skills and qualities needed to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

At Francis Holland, Regent’s Park, we are committed to ensuring that our students leave us with the confidence, knowledge, and networks to pursue their ambitions. This visit is part of our extensive Futures programme, which offers students access to workplace visits, networking events, and mentoring opportunities across a range of industries.

A huge thank you to EY for their warm welcome and for inspiring the next generation of FHRP leaders!
