On Wednesday 12th October, the U14s had their first hockey matches of the season. We travelled to Eltham College in South London to play in the first round of the London Schools’ Hockey Tournament, where we faced Eltham College and Colfe’s School. We were all quite nervous for the matches, as we had never played against the teams before and were unsure as to how they would play. We ended up beating Eltham College 9-0 and Colfe’s School 8-1! Two very successful matches for us! As we won both of these matches, we are through to the next round of the tournament! Some spectacular goals were scored and everyone should be very proud of themselves. The team all showed great team spirit and we are all looking forward to facing our next opponents soon!

It was a great day of hockey for Year 10 and Year 11 this week. We played two matches against Teddington and St Augustine’s – winning 3-1 and 3-0. Big congratulations to Zoha, Ruby, and Honor for scoring some fabulous goals. We ended the day with some KitKats and some very tired players. Well done to everyone in the team – we played amazingly!
