Kate has worked at FHS for an incredible 33 years, including as Head of Drama and Careers, and we were delighted to be able to welcome back many of her former pupils and colleagues to celebrate this special occasion with her. Throughout the evening there were photos from many of Kate’s past productions on display for all to enjoy. Later in the evening there was also a wonderful video showing excerpts from additional productions and even a fitting Shakespearian poem by three of Kate’s current colleagues! A speech by the Headmaster, Mr Fillingham, and Kate’s own words drew the evening to an emotional end.

Kate will be much missed by colleagues and our current girls, but we know that she will remain in touch with all through Quondam; we look forward to seeing her at a future event.
