Dr Kaili Rimfeld joined us for our last in this years Women of Influence Lecture Series.
Dr Rimfield gained her BSc and MSc in Psychology from Birkbeck College before beginning her PhD at Kings College London in 2013, researching gene-environment interplay in educational achievement.
Dr Rimfield spoke to our girls about her latest research comparing the genetics of twins and how this interplays with our environment to discover how human traits are (or are not) affected by differing factors. It was a fascinating talk demonstrating just one way our pupils could forge a career in the sciences and social sciences.
