On Tuesday 21st March girls in the Junior History club attended a talk by the historian, author, curator and television presenter Lucy Worsley at Emmanuel Church in West Hampstead.
The talk centered on her latest novel titled My Name is Victoria, a thrilling story of Queen Victoria’s childhood which was retold through the help of audience participation. Reenacting characters from the Royal family tree was certainly a fun and memorable way to better visualize their individual traits. The talk was not without an Easter theme too as students competed to win mini Easter eggs during a history quiz at the end of the presentation. Our budding historians were thrilled to have met Lucy in person and receive a signed copy of her novel.
