This week we celebrated the European Languages Week with a variety of engaging activities!
The week kicked off with a Kahoot inter-house competition, where students tested their language knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork.
We also hosted a treasure hunt where the students had the opportunity to embark on a school-wide adventure, solving language-based clues and unravelling mysteries.
On Thursday, the Languages Society will held its first session of the year. It is run by the Languages Presidents in collaboration with staff members and offers an engaging way to explore different cultures, play games, and discuss various language themes.
To close out the week, we had the highly anticipated Eurovision Song Contest! Students (and teachers!) rehearsed and sang songs from various Disney movies in French, Spanish, German and Italian this year, with impressive displays of performance as well as language skills. Pupils across all year groups gathered to cheer for their favourite acts in this charity event, which was held in support of Crisis. Well done to team Italy who took victory!
Bravo Ć tous! Enhorabuena a todos! Gut gemacht! Bravi tutti!
