On Tuesday 1st March, we had our first ever Inter-House Spaghetti and Marshmallow Tower Challenge! The aim was to build the tallest tower that would hold your House planet, and points were awarded for height and aesthetic. Beautiful papier maché planets were sourced from Mr Peters’ stock of previous Thirds’ Physics homeworks to help Miss Zugg, in her previous life an engineer, judge.

Great fun was had by all who attended, and the competition encapsulated the spirit of the Francis Holland House System, allowing several years to work together as a team. The winning house was Saturn; they are truly engineers in the making. Thanks to all who attended and made the event such a fun lunchtime.
