On Friday 13 December, a group of 20 passionate skiers from the Lower Fourth to the Lower Sixth embarked on an unforgettable journey to the picturesque slopes of Sestriere, Italy, to compete in the prestigious Independent Schools Ski Championships.
Our students delivered outstanding performances, claiming top places with 1st and 3rd place finishes in the U14 Girls Giant Slalom, 2nd place in the U14 Girls Slalom, and securing an impressive second overall for girls’ schools in the Giant Slalom. These incredible achievements showcased not only their skill and determination but also their ability to thrive under competitive pressure.
The week wasnāt just about racing! Under the expert guidance of their instructors, the girls explored thrilling off-piste skiingĀ routes, pushing their boundaries and developing their skills.
Evenings were filled with fun and laughter over card games, walks into the town, cinema trips, along with a delicious discovery of Nutella pizzas.
We couldnāt be prouder of our students for their hard work, team spirit, and phenomenal results. We returned to London on Thursday 19 December, ready to dive into a well-deserved break over the festive period!
