FHS girls took part in a virtual songwriting competition to allow anyone who is either musical or creative a chance to showcase their work for teachers and peers.

The competition was also an opportunity for students to gain house points at the end of the year. It gave pupils the chance to experiment in creating their own music using software they all had access to at home (such as GarageBand), and to explore different styles and find what suited them the best.

The winners were in 3 categories and then overall winners:

Best melody: Orielle G
Most interesting lyrics: Pepper C
Best instrumentation / harmonies: Hermione M

3rd Place overall: Ella D
2nd Place overall: Charlotte H (teardrops)
1st Place (overall winner): Dominique P
