Over October half term, 15 students travelled to Moscow and St Petersburg 100 years after the Bolshevik revolution that transformed twentieth century Russia.
They visited a range of historical sites of global importance in both cities and had a range of cultural experiences, including visiting a school in St Petersburg, a Russian folklore show and a performance of Prokofiev’s Cinderella. Not quite ten days that shook the world, but six days that awakened the intellectual curiosity of the students. All thanks to Miss Mahieu and Miss Quick who accompanied the trip.
