Headmistress, Vivienne Durham, sat on the panel on 2nd October 2015 at Tatler Schools Live event with Andrew Halls from King’s College Wimbledon and James Hooke from Harrodian School.

The panel was hosted by ITN presenter Mary Nightingale. Vivienne dispelled the myths on single sex education and explained how single sex schools prepare girls for the global co-ed world, offering clear sighted intelligent view of the world. She went on to explain how FHS builds self-esteem and provides girls with more leadership opportunities, particularly in the sixth form.

Vivienne also took part in a second panel discussion on the nitty-gritty of getting into senior schools. The group discussed the issues of over-tutoring and what schools are looking for in a pupil during the admissions process, particularly the importance of FHS interviewing every child.
