Last Friday, we held the inaugural FHS Big House Quiz, where three teams from each House put their general knowledge to the test. The teams tackled questions on famous quotations, current affairs and pop culture, not to mention Mr Bollands’ fiendish ‘Guess the Flag’ round! Over 70 students and members of staff took part, and each House demonstrated brilliant general knowledge. The winners were ‘Saturn Rocks’, with an impressive 35 points out of a possible 40. Special thanks must be given to our House Captains for being fantastic quizmasters and for announcing the hotly-anticipated results in assembly the following Monday. Congratulations to all who took part and we look forward to holding another quiz next year!
