We’re delighted to report some wonderful progress in the FHS Acceleration Project over the Summer!

A professional interior designer has done a great job on our art and music rooms, in keeping with our desire to make the rooms as impressive and creative as our girls’ exceptional art and music masterpieces.

The Drama Studio has also been transformed and enjoyed by girls of all year groups in their first lessons this week.

Last but not least, the girls’ toilets have been significantly spruced up and are unrecognizable!

All areas will be unveiled in a grand opening featuring a very special guest later on this term.

This of course could not have been achieved without the immensely generous support of our parents across the school community who have currently raised nearly £400,000 (including Gift Aid) for our Acceleration Project. This by far exceeds target and absolutely epitomises the magnificent community spirit which makes our school so unique. The notes of encouragement to the school accompanying these pledges- particularly valued in context of the challenges we have all faced over the last year – have also been extremely kind and gratifying and we’re thrilled that our school community is beginning this academic year stronger and more cohesive than ever before.
