On Saturday 9^th February, three of our UIV students attended an Engineering Masterclass at King’s College London.

At this week’s masterclass, an engineer from Newcastle University came to explain her work on designing bionic hands and last week the students were introduced to brain imaging for use in surgery.

The theme of Biomedical Engineering will continue with a trip to a hospital during the half term. The students worked in groups this week to make their own bionic hands.
