Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park’s annual Christmas Fair took place on Saturday 18th November.

Thousands of pounds (over £4,500) was raised and all proceeds are to be split between the Rainbow Centre (helping children in Sri Lanka obtain an education), Swiss Cottage School (for children with special educational needs) and our own charitable cause the FHS Summer Camp (an activity week for local children run by FHS staff and pupils).

Organised by the FHS Parents’ Association, the stalls were run by parents, girls, old girls and members of the local community. The School Hall was bursting with stalls laden with jewellery, cashmere, stocking fillers, Christmas cakes, puddings and wreaths providing the perfect opportunity for some festive shopping. Francis Holland chef’s beautifully decorated handmade Christmas cakes were on sale and as popular as ever! Make sure to take a look in the photos below.

Sixth Form Young Enterprise groups also displayed their business skills by selling specially designed t-shirts, water bottles, bags and jewellery.

Charles Fillingham, Headmaster, said, “I am very proud of the creativity and the imagination of the pupils at Francis Holland – they have found 101 new ways to raise money for charity and have fun at the same time”.

Many thanks to all who attended and everyone to helped make it such a successful day!
