Last Friday, my friends and I went to the soap making workshop. Firstly, we read a leaflet on how to make the soap, after that we chose the scents and colours so our soaps weren’t white. The teachers heated up the base of the soap on the Bunsen burner and we had to make sure we were very quick otherwise it would start to set. We poured the base into the mould and added the scent and colours. It took around 1 hour to set before we got it back. Overall, I really enjoyed the workshop as it was fun and creative.
