This past weekend, Miss Smith, Miss Morgan, Miss Horn, and Miss Lewis accompanied 47 Lower Fifth students on their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh assessed expedition in Chelmsford, Essex.
Pupils were fortunate to enjoy perfect weather on both days, with clear blue skies and sunshine, making Saturday’s hike especially enjoyable. Unlike their practice expedition, Sunday also brought lovely weather, much to everyone’s relief!
We were incredibly impressed by the girls’ teamwork and determination throughout the expedition. In the evening, they showed great efficiency in setting up their tents and preparing dinner using their trangias.
Every single pupil completed the expedition, and they should feel immensely proud of their achievement. We look forward to supporting them as they continue working towards completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award!
