Sixth Form students at Francis Holland School, Regents Park, celebrated outstanding A level results today.
56% of grades were A*- A and 82% A*- B. Excitingly, there were 100% A*- A grades in the Extended Project Qualification, which is worth half an A level.
Girls are going to some of the most selective universities in the world. Claudia French will be studying History at St Peters College, Oxford, Poppy Menzies Walker will be studying History of Art at Christchurch College, Oxford and Annie Appen will be studying Classics at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.
16 students achieved straight A*or A grades in their A levels, including Claudia French with 3 A* grades and Lily Rutterford with 2 A* and 2 A grades. Tabitha Hull, Lucy Morris, Sarah El-Muttardi and Poppy Menzies Walker all achieved 2 A* grades and 1 A grade.
Mr Fillingham, the Headmaster, praised both the pupils and the staff: These excellent examination results are richly deserved and they come as a result of consistent hard-work. I am delighted that our A level candidates have been so successful again this year; we wish them future happiness and success.
