HAPPY BIRTHDAY FHS!
On Thursday, we were so excited to be able to once again celebrate this very special occasion all together, in person, at school.
A Mufti day for all, the day kicked off with a brilliant assembly led by Mr Fillingham, in which he discussed the significance of historical events in the tapestry of life (a particularly enjoyable moment for all was being treated to a picture of our Headmaster as a baby!!). Jerusalem and the School Hymn were sung and the School Prayer read by our Head Girl Sofia, and FHS spirit was extremely high in time for the climax of the assembly and one of our favourite time-honoured traditions: the cutting of the cake by our youngest and oldest pupil.
Delicious FHS branded blueberry muffins and cookies were enjoyed by all year groups at break, and in the afternoon our Inter-House Drama Finals took place with fabulous performances from all, some particularly memorable ones being the Spice Girls who won the prize for best overall performance and Alice in Wonderland who won best costumes.
The day concluded with a wonderful Jazz Evening at which the girls wowed their parents once again by their wonderful musical talents.
Thank you to our entire FHS Community for making the occasion so joyous and wishing everyone a happy and relaxing half term break!
