Five cute, stuffed-toy herons were shipped off to alumni all over the world for photos to showcase how far and wide our alumni have travelled, inspiring our current pupils. Before their maiden voyage, the herons were named by FHS pupils via a school vote as Heidi, Hector, Horatio, Havika and Hendrix.

To date, over 30 alumni have registered to take part. Destinations visited by our intrepid herons include:

• Beijing, China

• Helsinki, Finland

• Charleston, USA

• Seoul, South Korea

• Ottawa, Canada

• Melbourne, Australia

• Zurich, Switzerland

• Montevideo, Uruguay

• Chennai, India

• …and even Bermuda!
