Our Aim
As a leading academic day school, we aim to provide an excellent, balanced education within a supportive, friendly and happy community. Our teaching and pastoral care are of the highest quality.
The Cornerstones of a Francis Holland, Regent’s Park Education
Compassion: Our pupils are guided to respect and celebrate the differences and needs of others so that they are able to demonstrate empathy in their day-to-day lives. They are encouraged to be kind and considerate and to support the Help Fund, recognising that they have a responsibility to make a positive contribution to society.
Knowledge: We want our pupils to be curious and intellectually enquiring, as well as ambitious, forward-thinking, creative and imaginative, seeking challenge and inspiration in the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of school life. We want our pupils to foster a lifelong love of learning and to embrace the academic and co-curricular opportunities offered at FHS.
Perseverance: Our pupils are supported to be bold, resilient and flexible, enabling them to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing world. They should have the courage to take risks, step out of their comfort zone, and to develop the strength and inner confidence to overcome challenge and adversity. We celebrate effort as well as achievement and contribution.
Spirit: As a Church of England school, our pupils understand the Christian values that are integral to our school. As an inclusive school they are also respectful and mindful of the faiths and beliefs, within our school community and beyond. Our pupils are proud of our FHS spirit: our history, traditions and community.
