This week we enjoyed an Afro Food Festival in celebration of Black History Month. Organised by the school’s Diversity Society (lead by Tomi in Year 12 and Ivie in Year 13), the event featured a variety of dishes and snacks originating from different cultures and cuisines.
Staff and pupils were invited to sample the diverse range of food, giving us all an opportunity to experience new tastes and flavours. The festival not only celebrated the continent’s culinary delicacies but also fostered a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity.
Look out for more events happening over the next couple of weeks in support of BHM!
