Sports day this year at FHS was very different and on discovery week each year group at Francis Holland had their own mini sports day!

Each pupil took part in every event, and it was an extremely busy afternoon of athletics. Some days we had beautiful sunshine and on others terrible rain! But no matter what the weather in true FHS style the pupils tried their very best and got involved. Throughout the afternoons, they took part in an array of events including long jump, speed bounce, javelin, shot, sprint, relay and of course some fun novelty races. Each day finished with a medal ceremony and congratulating the winning house. Well done to every single pupil that took part, the PE department were exceptionally proud of your efforts and enthusiasm.

1st – Saturn – 235 points
2nd – Mars – 206 points
3rd – Jupiter – 187 points
