School has only just started, and a group of Lower Sixth students, who have embarked on the new Italian A Level journey, joined the Italian community of “CinemaitaliaUK” for the screening of “Il Permesso” (The Furlough) at Regent street cinema on Tuesday 19th September.

Through the troubled lives of four prisoners who were given 48 hours to spend outside, the film dealt with important societal issues of contemporary Italy and exposed our students to authentic language. Action-packed and thoroughly entertaining, the season for us started in the best possible way!! We can’t wait to go and see the next film soon.
