On Thursday 21st September, we were delighted to welcome prospective Sixth Formers and their families, along with our current Upper Fifth, to our Sixth Form Open Evening. The atmosphere throughout the evening was one of anticipation and excitement as girls explored their options and envisioned themselves as FHS Sixth Formers in our state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre, Linhope House. Following tours of Linhope House, guests gathered in the Ivor Place Hall to hear talks from the Head, Mrs Woodcock; Acting Head of Sixth Form, Ms Williams; Head Girl, Isabel and EDIB (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging) Ambassador, Afnan. Guests were then invited to a series of subject presentations delivered by Heads of Departments to explore their options at A Level and find out about the range of subjects on offer, from Computer Science to Fine Art.

It was wonderful to see the School and Linhope House buzzing with prospective Sixth Formers ready to take on the challenges and independence of A Level study, and we can’t wait for them to join us next September. Thank you to all who joined us!
