To celebrate the European Day of Languages, the MFL department organised a few events that happened throughout the week.

The highlights were the inter-house quiz, won by Saturn, but all the houses did extremely well. The Eurovision Song Contest, where each language performed a song from their country and the teachers embarrassed themselves representing England! Both events were great fun and were a great way to commemorate the European Day of Languages.

The Languages Department raised an impressive £150 and have decided to donate this money to the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which builds schools and promotes early education in the most deprived areas in Serbia.
