On the evenings of 28th, 29th and 30th November, an ensemble cast of 26 students at Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park put on a spectacular performance of Lionel Bart’s well-loved musical Oliver!.
For three consecutive nights, our girls brought Charles Dickens’ famous novel Oliver Twist to life. The performances took audiences on an exciting adventure through Victorian England, with the purpose built set and sombre lighting allowing the actresses to fully explore their Dickensian roles. Oliver! offered something for everyone: beautiful renditions of well-known musical numbers, including Food Glorious Food, I’d Do Anything and Consider Yourself and dozens of heart-warming and tear-jerking scenes.
